Grace
is ...
… Courage
under fire
… Resilience
when hope has faded
… Knowing
you were meant to be here
… Moving
purposefully through this life
… Blessings
in any form
… At
ease in the flow
Stop.
I
do not understand grace.
I
do not know if I have truly experienced it.
I
write these words as if I know what grace is,
As
if it has graced my life.
Perhaps
it has and I haven't recognised it.
I'm
sure I've had blessings in many forms.
I
know I've been at ease in the flow.
I
suspect I have both courage under fire
and
resilience when hope has faded,
otherwise
I would have succumbed to that
“Life
is not worth living” voice
a
long, long time ago.
I
do not know the face of grace,
But I know there
is
but one letter's difference
between
grace and grave.
C
for courage.
V
for vanquished.
Perhaps
I do know grace after all.
